President and Founder of Adkison Towing

Donald L. Adkison has lived in Jacksonville Florida for over 45 years. He is a Retired Army Colonel.  He served over 33 years.  He held many positions throughout his military career from Platoon leader to Group Commander.  He was also the State Aviation Office for Florida.  His emphasis has always been on safety and family, which he still carries on to this day.  Mr. Adkison and Mr Gaylord of Southern Wrecker teamed up in 2006 to form the FIRST COAST ROAD RANGERS.  This is just some of the many achievements he has to his name.

Donald “Marshall” Adkison has lived in Jacksonville Florida for over 45 Years. He went to Lone Star Elementary and Graduated from Sandalwood High School. He is a retired Army Major. He Joined the Army in 1982 and finished up his 28 year career as a Commander of the Transportation Terminal Battalion.  While in the Army Major Adkison went through many Army schools some of these included Flight school, Advance Aviation Officers Course, AH-64 Attack Helicopter Course, Command and Staff College, Transportation Officer Course, and he also served in Operation Desert Storm and Iraq Freedom. A proven Combat Officer.  He continues to set the standard.  He was the original author of the City of Jacksonville’s ordinance for private property towing (Tow-a-ways).

Office Manager of Adkison Towing

Kaye K. Perry has lived in Jacksonville Florida for over 43 years. She is a graduate of Fletcher High school.  She was a service writer in many local dealerships and for a period of time she was a shop foreman.  She has been a towing dispatcher for over 20 years.  Her vast knowledge of the city, dealerships, motor clubs have made Adkison’s Towing dispatch center above all others. MS Perry has trained over 20 dispatchers and is responsible for the day to day operations of the dispatch center.

Kal S. Smith has lived in Jacksonville Florida for over 18 years.  He has been a tow truck operator for 13 years.  He graduated Road Master in 2005 and currently holds a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement.  His knowledge of towing laws and DMV rules has enabled him to become one of the city’s most knowledgeable expert with regards to towing and impounds.
