How many towing locations does a towing company have to have in one County or City?

The answer is one. Any more than that you communications and dispatching is ineffective. If a towing company has a good dispatch center then only one location is needed. Towers with multiple locations are trying to make you think that there locations are all the same and have the same. When in fact most to the locations are unmanned, they are just storage lots. You might ask why would someone do that it is simple. The laws states you can only do tow-a-ways with in 10 radius miles of the storage lots. What is the crime is they know the law states that but they forget to read the rest of the law where it states"

"1.a. Any towed or removed vehicle must be stored at a site within 10 miles of the point of removal in any county of 500,000 population or more, and within 15 miles of the point of removal in any county of less than 500,000 population. . That site must be open for the purpose of redemption of vehicles on any day that the person or firm towing such vehicle or vessel is open for towing purposes, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and, when closed, shall have prominently posted a sign indicating a telephone number where the operator of the site can be reached at all times. Upon receipt of a telephoned request to open the site to redeem a vehicle,"

In other words they are committing felonies right under your nose. They are not open by law.

Why claim multiple locations?

This is one of the most diluted statements. . It's about service that's it. . If a company has three trucks and five locations how many tows can be done at one time the deception s you hear 5 locations with 3 trucks you think 15 trucks when really only three trucks- THREE TOWS nothing more nothing less. The reason for multiple locations in same city is to hope you see them as big. In Magic it's called an illusion.

Look for Awards Local and National. See how they compete with other towers across America. Call local Law enforcement. Ask for documentation, you ask what documentation –ask for insurance and workers compensation see if real call number on Certificate of insurance. All Towers are not the same, In Jacksonville there are just a handful of true legal towers.
